New brochure

The German Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation (FES) regularly publishes a brochure "Focus America" in which it focuses on one particular aspect in US policies. The current publication gives an overview on the US financing system of presidential election campaigns and on the upcoming elections 2008 in particular. Even today it is clear that this campaign will top all the records when it comes to the amounts the candidates raised so far.

Bereits heute ist der laufende Wahlkampf der kostspieligste in der amerikanischen Geschichte. So hat beispielsweise die demokratische Präsidentschaftskandidaten Hillary Clinton bereits 63 Mio. Dollar an Spenden gesammelt.
